At CoinGrader AI, we strive to provide accurate and valuable AI-powered coin grading services. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for our subscription plans and services.

Please read this policy carefully before subscribing to understand your rights and our refund procedures.

2. Subscription Refund Eligibility

2.1 First-Time Subscribers (14-Day Money-Back Guarantee)

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers to the Hobbyist ($9.99/month) or Professional ($29.99/month) plans.

  • Eligible if you request a refund within 14 days of your initial subscription payment
  • Must be your first paid subscription to CoinGrader AI (not applicable to renewals)
  • Full refund will be issued if you have used fewer than 10 grading credits
  • Partial refund (pro-rated based on credits used) if you have used 10 or more credits

2.2 Recurring Subscription Renewals

Subscription renewals are non-refundable except in the following circumstances:

  • Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a system error
  • Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same billing period
  • Unauthorized Charges: If you can demonstrate your account was compromised

To cancel future renewals, you may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until that time.

2.3 Free Tier

The free tier does not involve payment and is therefore not eligible for refunds. Free tier credits reset monthly and do not carry over.

3. Service Quality Refunds

We may issue refunds or credits in the following service-related situations:

3.1 Technical Failures

  • If our AI system fails to process your coin images due to technical issues on our end
  • If you experience extended service downtime (more than 24 consecutive hours)
  • If grading results are not delivered within a reasonable timeframe due to our system errors

3.2 What Is NOT Eligible for Refunds

Important: The following situations do NOT qualify for refunds:

  • Disagreement with AI Grade Estimates: Our AI provides estimates, not guarantees. Refunds will not be issued if you disagree with the grade estimate or if a professional grading service (PCGS, NGC, etc.) assigns a different grade
  • User Error: Poor quality images, incorrect coin information, or failure to follow photography guidelines
  • Change of Mind: After the 14-day guarantee period for first-time subscribers
  • Unused Credits: Unused grading credits do not qualify for refunds (credits reset monthly)
  • Third-Party Grading Costs: We do not refund PCGS, NGC, or other professional grading fees if your coin grades differently than our AI estimate

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Email our support team at support@coingrader.ai
  2. Include your account email address and subscription details
  3. Provide a clear explanation of why you are requesting a refund
  4. Include any relevant documentation (screenshots, transaction IDs, etc.)

Our team will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days. If approved, refunds are processed within 7-10 business days and will be returned to your original payment method via PayPal.

5. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Log in to your CoinGrader AI account
  • Navigate to Account Settings > Subscription
  • Click "Cancel Subscription"
  • Confirm cancellation

Important: Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have full access to your plan until that date. No refunds are issued for the remainder of the current billing period unless you qualify under our 14-day guarantee or other specific circumstances outlined above.

6. Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may offer partial refunds or account credits:

  • Pro-Rated Refunds: If you used some but not all of your grading credits within the 14-day guarantee period
  • Service Credits: As goodwill gestures for service disruptions or technical issues
  • Downgrade Credits: If you downgrade from Professional to Hobbyist mid-billing cycle

Partial refund amounts are calculated based on the number of grading credits used and the time elapsed in the billing period.

7. Fraudulent Activity and Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback with your payment provider without first attempting to resolve the issue with CoinGrader AI:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
  • Access to the Service will be revoked until the dispute is resolved
  • If the chargeback is found to be unjustified, your account may be permanently terminated

We encourage you to contact our support team to resolve any billing issues before initiating a chargeback.

8. Changes to This Refund Policy

CoinGrader AI reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
